Lists is a productivity tool that makes organizing structured information simple - whether it’s for project planning or managing everyday tasks. Over the course of a year, I led Android design and contributed to shared mobile features across platforms. Today, the app has over a million downloads and a 4.1 star rating on the Play Store.
Overview
Capturing and managing data on-the-go can be challenging - spreadsheets quickly become overwhelming, to-do apps aren't flexible enough, and databases feel unnecessarily complicated. Lists bridges this gap by providing a lightweight solution, combining the clarity of structured tables with rich customization, real-time collaboration, and intuitive mobile access.
One list, endless possibilities
Whether it’s inventory, onboarding, or vacation plans, Lists adapts to fit every task with it's powerful, flexible column types.

Areas of focus
My role at Microsoft Lists spanned beyond a single platform, giving me the opportunity to shape shared features, build visual systems, and explore future directions.
Microsoft Lists Android Application

I led the end-to-end design of the Microsoft Lists Android app. Over six months, I shaped everything from foundational flows and micro interactions, to collaborating with marketing on assets like the Play Store imagery. This work spanned end-to-end product thinking and hands-on execution.
Commenting

I designed the commenting experience across both Android and iOS, making Lists more collaborative. This involved system-level thinking around notifications, threading, and input UX.
Lists Design System

To ensure consistency across mobile platforms, I built a shared design system for Lists on Mobile and Tablet, with 100+ components. It supported faster iteration and alignment with Microsoft’s Fluent design language.
Speculative vision work

In parallel with feature delivery, I worked on early explorations around product direction and differentiation — identifying gaps, prototyping ideas, and testing for long-term fit.
